Product Spotlight: The Prima

When it comes to Endless Possibilities, our Prima collection takes the cake!

I don’t believe there is any other line of Shells that offers such versatility. No matter what stage of life you are in or what kind of lifestyle you live, there is something for everyone in the Prima line. Whether you are hitting the gym, carrying around textbooks, toting for two, or simply carry your life in your purse and prefer to do it with style, I highly recommend the Prima.

A large tote is must-have for every woman. Like a strand of pearls or the iconic little black dress, an oversized bag is a timeless accessory every woman should own.

What is your favorite way to carry this roomiest of Miche Bags?

  1. I would LOVE to see more shells like the ‘on the go’ Lucy. With all the extra external pockets and the little pad! Not just great for diaper changes, but for toddlers to sit in the shopping carts with cushion (my 5 year old uses it often), or for mom to sit on at soccer games, etc. Would love to see a solid black, for all purpose use. Maybe a denim for sport use?

  2. The prima is my favorite of the bags! I can fit anything I need in it. I would also like to see more “go anywhere” styles. They are great for carrying things for the kids. I love that I can go from diaper bag to a more elegant bag in a matter of seconds!

  3. I do love the Prima when i have a looong and busy day ahead! I use mine with the black rope handles, but I carry the quick clip in the bag, in case i need/want to switch to an over the shoulder means of carrying it. Love the many cute styles you are offering for this size!

  4. I would Love to have the Hope bag in blue. How wonderful. I would give it to my wife who suffered 7 heart attacks. Quoting the late Harvey Milk, “You gotta give them hope.”

  5. I need a rep. in des moines ia contact me… I REALLY wanted …the red, white & blue demi
bag ….I don’t want to miss out on the fall shells…need more of the medium sized shells!!

  6. When are you going to make prettier handles?? I love my reyna shell, but a black
handle on an all pink bag??? You’d think a guy made that decision… love your bags but the
    handles are mostly ugly…

  7. I use my Lucy to carry all of my office supplies, files, and catalogs back and forth from my office , to home, to wherever I need to be. I’ve been using the same shell for over 2 years and it doesn’t show any signs of wear. I love all the extra pockets to make it easy to organize everything and to be able to grab whatever I need in a hurry.

  8. My daughter is starting 9th grade and had her heart set on one of the prima “back pack” styles to start scool. The party we attended had a really pretty, very clasic grey/silver cover (don’t remember the name) that was shown with the chain straps. Our consultant has moved and I don’t see any back pack styles on your website. Has that been discontinued? Really trying to find something before next Wednesday, August 15th. Please contact me ASAP if you can help! :)

Thanks – a greatful mom in Colorado!

  9. Hi there! We still have two Shells in the Urban Bag style that you’re looking for: Sienna (brown) and Chelsey (white). Chelsey is still the only one still featured in the catalogue but both Bags can be purchased through a Representative. However, Sienna is NOT available through michebag.com. Email fielddevelopment@miche.com with your name, city, state and phone number and they will help find a Representative in your area!

  10. I LOVE my Prima. I use it every single day.
However, I am a taller girl and I just wish there was a cross body strap long enough to put the opening of my Prima at hip level. Even the adjustable long strap is too short; I’d need a strap with 4-6 more inches of drop (which is, what, 8-12 of length?).
I have to fly A LOT for work and it would be nice to be able to have the bag securely across my body as I trek through airports, but still be able to get into it without being a contortionist.
