Fashion Friday: 7 Ways to Tie a Scarf

Now that the weather is chilly, a scarf is a fun and functional way to accessorize your fall and winter wardrobe! Here are seven ways to wear a scarf this season.  Some old and true, “when in doubt” methods mixed in with a few new fresh ideas!

Boho Chic

Go bohemian by wrapping the scarf around your neck like so: Drape the scarf behind neck, wrap each end across the neck and around the shoulders, then wind around back of neck and wrap back around shoulders. Fluff neckline to add a bit a volume and voilà! Boho Chic!

Cowl

Stay warm this winter and still look cute by wrapping your scarf around your neck as many times as you can to create a hip cowl neck look!

Bow Tie

Embrace your feminine side with a dramatic bow. Drape the scarf around neck and tie the ends in a cute oversized bow!

Tie Knot

For warmer days when your neck wants a breath of fresh air, wrap the scarf around your neck and tie a knot at each end of your scarf—this is a fun new twist to the traditional way of wearing your scarf!

Braided

Perfect for cold days when you still need to look stylish, the braided method is simple, yet draws the eye and will have others asking, “How did you do that?” To braid your scarf, first fold it in half and drape it around your neck with the looped end on one shoulder. Next, pull one side under and through the loop. Finally, pull the second side over and through the lip on the other side. Fluff, and you’re off!

Twisted

Twisting your scarf is a new take on an old method.  Simply twist your scarf until tight, fold it in half, twist a little more, drape it around your neck and pull loose ends through the loop!

Bag Scarf

Your neck is not the only place to sport a scarf-adding a scarf to any one of our stylish Miche Bags is a great way to “tie” your handbag into your outfit!

Wrap up this season with fabulous style!

Love,
