What’s Hot for Fall 2010

By Jennie

It’s officially here – Fall. Fall is my favorite season, not just because I love Thanksgiving, but because it means that Fall fashion is here! This season, Miche Bag is totally in sync with what’s hot on the runways right now. This season it’s all about warm earthy tones, pastels, and animal print skin. But no matter where I go or what fashion I see, Miche Bag seems to always have the most chic designer handbag styles.

If you saw the September and October Miche releases, you saw that a lot of warm, neutral colors were used with fiery reds and pastels. This is exactly what’s hitting the runways in Paris and L.A. The Drew shell is a perfect example of the red hot color that’s showing up on everything from sweaters to designer shoes. The Lynette is another example of the earthy and neutral colors that are becoming popular specifically with designer handbags. A lot of celebrities have been seen this season with beige, neutral colored bags.

Animal skins are everywhere this season on the runways with shoes and designer handbags. Leopard print and snake skin is making a huge comeback, and L.A. fashionistas have been seen sporting these designs on both ankle-length booties and large tote bags. The Jennifer shell has been one of our most popular releases for its neutral color scheme and fantastic python skin design. Paired with the chain handles, the Jennifer shell is one of the hottest designs for this Fall, and one of my personal favorites!

Let’s not forget about Fall sweaters. You just have to have a good sweater to get through Fall, and you need a sweater that won’t be bulky if you layer it with other things. I’ve found that the best materials are cashmere, wool, and cotton. I recommend sticking to solid colored sweaters like turtlenecks and V-necks, and adding a splash of color with a pastel scarf or a warm-colored purse. Pair one of Miche’s designer handbags from the October releases to really pull your outfit together. The Vanessa shell adds the perfect amount of punch to a layered, earthy sweater. But let’s not forget about the minis, either. The Kandi shell is my absolute favorite mini shell to pair with a dark gray sweater, a chic skirt, and mid-calf boots. The mini is great because it’s so tiny and chic that it looks great with everything.

I hope this Fall fashion update helps you as you go shopping for your Fall wardrobe! Just stick to the basics – solid colored sweaters, splashes of bright reds and pastels, and ankle length or mid calf length boots. And as always, a Miche Bag is the perfect accessory to any outfit. There are so many chic shells to choose from for Fall! What will you wear this Fall?
